Storm's Storm Cafe Empty
PostSubject: Storm's Storm Cafe   Storm's Storm Cafe EmptySun Aug 07, 2011 8:19 pm

Laxus walked upon the desert path, his footsteps heavy and lonesome as the sun blared upon his weary back. It had been near a month since his exile from his former guild. He had left behind his 'bodyguards' as well. They didn't do anything that got everyone to hate them completely. They did everything under his orders as their leader. He requested the old man to let them stay at the guild as members. They still had a chance, unlike Laxus. His blood boiled with his lightning magic, and his eyes gazed upon the lonely path which he must travel upon. His mark used to be on his right arm, but now... He had no mark. They removed it using magic. He was an exile now. The scum guilds spat on, and shunned so badly they had to join a dark guild. Laxus wasn't gonna join a dark guild that easily. They were still pieces of shit to him.

Always.

He wore a brown cloak that reached to his ankles, his headphones playing loud rock music and a stripped polo under it along with some cargo pants and boots. He was going to Oak Town now, and the road was hot. There he might find some missions at Storm Cafe. He never liked taking missions there, guildless mages playing poker and having bar fights... They didn't deserve to be called mages, and he was one of them now. One of the fucking bastards he so hated. Ironic, wasn't it? Storm Cafe was a few more miles from here, and he couldn't stand walking anymore. Growling, he charged forward right before jumping, twisting in mid-air and fired a beam of lightning behind him which evolved into a whirlwind of lightning, propelling him forward at an impressive speed.

He arrived after ten minutes feeling refreshed. He missed using his magic regularly, but it didn't feel right. The mark of Fairy Tail was missing, and he couldn't get it back. Walking through a crowd of people, he made his way to Storm Cafe without any difficulties. It was ordinary, to say the least. There were drunkards passed out in front of it and some of the windowpanes were broken. It looked extremely dilapidated and should've been shut down by the health inspector long ago. Oh well.

Walking inside, the smell of strong liquor and not bathing for ages attacked his senses. He growled, looking at the bar fight which even the bartender participated in. Roaring, he raised his fists and charged lightning magic in his hands before opening his fists and letting rip a shockwave of yellow lightning which caused all of them to pass out on the ground. Weaklings. They couldn't even stand a shockwave of that level? Fucking dumb-asses. He made his way to the request board and ripped off all the missions off it and stuffed it into his pocket. They didn't deserve the ability to go on missions. He exited coolly, maneuvering his way through the unconscious bodies.

"Luxus!" a man yelled. Luxus turned around and saw a hulking man standing at 7 feet with large muscles and shit and piss running down his calves. He breathed heavily and was gathering a large amount of magic. His face was ugly as hell with a lightning scar going from his left eye and through his mouth, it wasn't treated properly it seemed. Oh, yeah. Luxus just remembered that it was him that gave the man his scar. It was when him and his bodyguards did a raid of a dark guild, and this one was the 'strongest', they said. Laxus dealt with him personally to show him what true power was.

"What is it?" he replied coolly.

The man charged with shit falling behind him, and Laxus waited till he was a few inches away from punching him in the face before slamming his right palm on his chest and lightning him up with yellow lightning streaming through his body. His eyes went white and was shoved a way with smoke coming from his body. The man stumbled back before attempting to charge again, but Laxus gave him a little shove and he fell right on top of the thin bartender. Ouch. That has to hurt.

At this point, Laxus exited the bar. Or at least he wanted to, but the men woke up. Fuck. He waited till they were all back on their feet, standing awkwardly because of the shit in their pants. Ugh. Looks like he had to destroy this place before they'd just leave him alone. They were all charging their magical power, most chanting spells, others getting weapons from thin air. Laxus allowed himself to fall on his knees and slammed the bottom of his fists on the hard-wood floors and the entire place lit up with a glowing yellow light. He heard yelps, but they were all silenced almost immediately. Once the light went away, everything in front of him was destroyed, and bodies were everywhere.

"Finally..." he thought as he left the place to go on an S-Class mission.

Storm's Storm Cafe Empty
PostSubject: Re: Storm's Storm Cafe   Storm's Storm Cafe EmptySun Aug 07, 2011 10:40 pm

Storm Cafe was a rather amusing place for Gildarts; a place he had spent so much of his life in and yet he seriously hated it. He had spent months alone here with just Jessica, the namesake of the huge black snake that was wrapped around his shoulders and arms, and then being king of the spot so he...seriously, hated this place. "Little one," the snake around his neck hissed softly, easily mistakable as a scarf at first and second glances since her head was tucked under her coils, "Why exactly are we here? It'ssss not a nice town for you I know, you don't talk about it any more but you've been tensssse ssssince we arrived. Are you alright?"

"I'm fine Jess,"
he said a little-too loudly, passing by several people though not nearly as many as most cities, due to the incoming storm, "I'm just fine."

He wasn't really, he was feeling reckless. It had been a long time since Gildarts had been feeling this way and all he wanted to do right now was hurt someone, something, anything. It had all started a few days ago in Magnolia, sitting at home alone and realizing something was missing. He hadn't used his magic in days. That was wrong for Gildarts, it was like not using one of his arms, so he had gathered up Jessica from her weekly city-hunt for mice and had headed out, not telling her their destination but intent on heading here for Storm Cafe just so he could mess up someone. Anyone. Preferably a mage with a cocky attitude, maybe he'd leave them a present. The only revenge he had taken for his months of torture were two deaths, maybe it was time to begin his true calling as a Crash man...

Beginning with Storm Cafe.

However as Gildarts turned down a main street however he almost ran into someone he had not seen in a long time, in a few years in fact. It was the familiar face that got him rather than the clothing since he had almost walked into the person upon exiting his own path. The face was as he had last seen it albeit a little more older and worn out but still nostalgic to finally face once again. Gildarts was the first to recover from the shock however, tensing a few of his muscles ever-so-slightly and smiling at the man before him. "Laxative," he said with a smile, "It's been some time. How've you been? Oh where are my manners, this little pretty snake here is Jessia and she's been keeping me company so far. I trust you just laid waste to some unlucky bastards right?." His last comment referring to the smoke that rose over the area from the direction that Laxus had been coming from.

The flash of yellow light did not hinder Laxus' site nor any of his senses. The moment Gildarts got within a thirty mile radius of him, he had taken note of his presence. Indeed, he would be a fool not to. Gildarts stood tall even though he lost almost everything on the left side of his body. Laxus wondered if his dick was included. The wind shifted and passed through Laxus' cloak and he smirked as a song played called "History's Dogs" played by his favorite band. This was rather ironic. Cruelly ironic. Gildarts was one of the few Laxus still wondered about to this day. Not in a gay way, but about his strength. It was rumored Gildarts was the strongest of all the lands. Laxus wondered if that was really true. He had seen his legendary crash magic put to use in an actual battle once or twice, and it was scary as fuck.

Though Laxus' power was limitless, said by some. His speed incredible as he held the ability to transform his body into pure lightning and travel at a speed close to actual lightning itself. Laxus laughed slightly at hearing the nickname Gildarts had given him a long time ago. "Hmph. Still kicking, huh, old man? Those pitiful idiots don't deserve to be called bastards in my opinion," he said coolly as he tried walking away from the old man. He didn't want to talk with him right now. He was once one of the selected group of S-Class, and now he happened to come by the strongest one of the lot. He hadn't heard any news of his guild because he spent his years travelling in the desert and staying in villages no one has even heard of.

Storm's Storm Cafe Empty
PostSubject: Re: Storm's Storm Cafe   Storm's Storm Cafe EmptyTue Aug 09, 2011 10:35 pm

Standing around in the midle of nowhere during a bitter heat wave was by all means nothing short of a chore. Having lived in various regions for virtually all of his life, the heat wasn't too unusual. While the uncomfortable heat was something he was accustomed to and familiar with that didn't mean he found it very pleasant. For someone as normally lethargic and lazy as the so-called 'King of Afternoon Naps', standing out in the hot sun wasn't exactly something he'd ordinarily be doing. The exceptions to this, of course, would be wandering around. During a a job search or something of that nature, Gildarts would essentially turn into a lobster being steamed due to the conductive nature of his heavy, articulated plate armor. The way it drawed in heat and seemed to essentially bake him made walking particularly uncomfortable. Fortunately, Gildarts was in the shade and talking to an old friend of his but this friend didn't wanna talk to him.

On this particular day the mage who was colloquially known as the 'Laziest Son of a Bitch in the guildy" and the 'Self-Proclaimed King of Afternoon Naps' was spending his day trying to get something to eat out here. It seemed clear to anyone that he was sort of just slacking off, and while that was true Gildarts was actually there for a purpose. You see, the mage had recently somehow been able to detect a strong magical source in the town. Despite the doubts, Gildarts had definitely proven himself beyond the expectations of most and had actually completed the missions he was assigned to admirably. With the exception of the mundane and menial jobs that he totally slacked on, Gildarts had accomplished his tasks admirably. Some of his methods were occasionally off, but the results were often better than expected. And now this man named Laxus was walking away from a great mage as if he were nothing. Gildarts was humble and all but more importantly care-free and laughed as the young man walked. His arm however shot forth and grabbed Laxus by the shoulder, preventing him from walking away. "Aww cmon Laxus don't be that way. Why don't we catch up? The guild has been annihilated and I'm hungry so we can do this over food. Say...your treat? His voice coming out in laughing and calm way.

Storm's Storm Cafe Empty
PostSubject: Re: Storm's Storm Cafe   Storm's Storm Cafe EmptyWed Aug 10, 2011 2:24 pm

Laxus was prevented from his escape. This man, or whatever, was once his rival and comrade. Though he was surprised he was still the same old man. Unfortunately, he would not let Laxus go without a fight. It made him curve his lips slightly upward at the thought, though not smirking, smiling, or anything really. It could be considered as curving your lips slightly upward in annoyance, amusement, and reminiscing. It was mostly out of annoyance however. He shook his shoulder out of his grasp, until he heard what he said. Laxus moved as fast as lightning, becoming a blur in the eyes of so many as he swatted away the arm of the man, grabbing him by his collar, and slamming him against the wall of the building.

"What did you say?" his power rising to the brim, everything around him showing signs of being utterly crushed as people ushered out of the street as fast as they could, until they all fell unconscious after feeling just some of the full strength Laxus had. Children dropped unconscious, strong burly men were drooling next to the gutter with a rat crawling up their mouths. The roof tiles of buildings levitated ominously and were crushed by the weight of his power. Oh, his power was mighty and no one could deny that. It was equal to that of Gildart's crash magic, yet Laxus couldn't stand this man's cruel and mindless jests. To say that his guild, nay, his old guild was destroyed without him knowing... Did he mock him? Why? He would not believe it. His grandfather would not let his guild fall so easily, and there were some strong people back at the guild.

Natsu, Erza, hell, Grey, the phantom girl, fuck even Mirajane! They wouldn't stand by and let the guild they loved fall so easily! His lies would be punished by Laxus' swift lightning magic and severely!
